South Wales based Maid to Help Cleaning Specialists has acquired Hafren Services Limited in a move to accelerate its growth and strengthen its footprint across Wales and into the West of England. This deal was advised by GS Verde - an AAB Group Company.
The deal brings the Newtown-based cleaning and maintenance specialist into the Maid to Help group, adding an established client base, strong reputation and expanded regional coverage.
It marks the latest step in Maid to Help’s strategy to scale its facilities management offering through a mix of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.
Hafren Services brings a loyal client base, strong local reputation and complementary geographic coverage, making it a natural strategic fit. The deal enhances Maid to Help’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services across a broader footprint while deepening long-term client relationships.
Samantha Howells, Managing Director of Maid to Help, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Hafren Services into the group. Gwyn and his team have built an excellent business with a strong reputation, and this acquisition allows us to build on that success while accelerating our growth across Wales. It’s an exciting step forward as we continue to scale the business.”
The acquisition ensures full continuity for Hafren’s clients and employees, with all staff retained and services continuing uninterrupted.
Gwyn Thomas, Director of Hafren Services Limited, added: “Securing the right future for Hafren was a top priority. Maid to Help shares our commitment to quality and people, and I’m confident the business will go from strength to strength under their leadership. I’m pleased to remain involved during the transition and support the next phase of growth.”
Gwyn will continue to support the business in the short term to ensure a smooth integration and maintain the high standards customers expect.
The deal further reinforces Maid to Help’s position as a growing force in the Welsh facilities management sector, with a clear focus on quality, scalability and sustainable expansion.
Hafren Services were advised by GS Verde (an AAB Group company), which supported them throughout the deal through to completion. Maid to Help were advised by Berry Smith, and Collective Thought Wales advised financially.
