Corporate Paralegal
GS Verde Law (an AAB Group Company) – Cardiff or Bristol
GS Verde Law is seeking a highly organised and motivated Corporate Paralegal to join our expanding Corporate team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior experience in a corporate legal environment to develop their career within a fast growing, multi disciplinary advisory group.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support our corporate lawyers across a broad range of transactional and advisory matters. Work will include assisting with mergers, acquisitions, and disposals, share reorganisations, due diligence, document preparation, and general client support. The position provides exposure to high quality corporate work within a fast paced, collaborative and forward thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and restructures.
• Drafting and reviewing corporate documents, including shareholder agreements and board minutes
• Supporting the preparation, review, and organisation of transaction documents
• Conducting legal research and preparing reports
• Managing due diligence processes and maintaining accurate document records
• Preparing completion documents and assisting with post completion filings
• Liaising with clients, counterparties, and internal teams to progress matters efficiently
• Providing general administrative and legal support to fee earners within the Corporate team
• Supporting the wider team in delivering seamless, multi-disciplinary advice
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 2:1 law degree
• Prior experience in a corporate legal setting
• LPC/SQE completed or in progress
• Experience within a UK law firm is strongly desirable
• Strong drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• A genuine interest in corporate transactions and business advisory work
• Experience working directly with clients
Training Contract Opportunity
For the right candidate, there is the potential to progress to a training contract following a successful six month period in the paralegal role. This pathway is designed for individuals who demonstrate strong capability, commitment, and alignment with the firm’s values.

Location
This role may be based in either our Cardiff or Bristol office, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements. Start date will be 1st April 2026.
